AARAMBH 2K26, the annual Sports Week of Government Engineering College, Modasa, was organized from 21st February to 1st March 2026 with the aim of fostering physical fitness, teamwork, leadership, and community engagement among students. The event served as a platform to promote both mental and physical wellness while encouraging students to participate in competitive and recreational sporting activities. The sports fest included a wide range of outdoor and indoor games to ensure participation from students with different interests and skill levels. Outdoor events included Cricket, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho Kho, and Athletics such as 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m races,Shot Put, Discus Throw, and Javelin Throw. Indoor games such as Badminton, Table Tennis, and Chess were also conducted successfully. These events allowed students from varioussemesters to actively participate and showcase their sporting talents. The primary objectives of AARAMBH 2K26 were to promote a healthy lifestyle, encourage teamwork and leadership, strengthen community bonding, and provide opportunities for students to develop organizational and management skills. The event also aimed to reduce academic stress and enhance overall student well-being through active participation in sports activities. All events were conducted in a well-organized manner under the supervision of faculty coordinators and student volunteers. Proper registration procedures, team formation guidelines, and safety measures were implemented to ensure smooth execution. First-aid facilities were available at the venue, and participants followed all safety protocols during the competitions. The matches were highly competitive, and participants displayed excellent sportsmanship throughout the tournament. The finals of various events attracted large crowds and created an energetic atmosphere on campus. AARAMBH 2K26 successfully achieved its goal of promoting unity, discipline, and enthusiasm among students, making it a memorable and impactful sports fest for the entire college community.
